Remdesivir（瑞德西韦）尚未在任何国家获得批准上市，最新的《新英格兰杂志》上对美国一例新冠肺炎患者进行尝试性治疗，效果十分良好。从药理机制上看，Remdesivir对多种冠状病毒都具有较好的效果，包括埃博拉等。在体外和动物模型中，Remdesivir证实了对非典型性肺炎（SARS）和中东呼吸综合征（MERS）的病毒病原体均有活性，它们也属于冠状病毒，且与2019-nCoV在结构上非常相似。

Remdesivir用于治疗埃博拉病毒感染者的临床试验数据尚未完全公开。
