JACC:规律睡眠应是健康生活方式指标

近日,美国国立心肺血液研究所(NHLBI)发表了一项随访5年的研究:对于中老年人,如果睡眠不规律,患心血管疾病加倍!
 
先前诸多研究发现,将睡眠不足与肥胖、糖尿病和心脏病的风险升高,这也是医生强调每晚睡眠7到8小时的重要性的原因之一。
 
该研究则发现,与那些睡眠规律最规律的人相比,睡眠最不规律的人发生心血管疾病的风险要高出一倍以上。
 
即使在校正了已知的心血管危险因素和其他睡眠变量(如阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停和平均睡眠时间)后,这种关联仍然很强。 
 
该研究者表示,睡眠不规律也是心血管疾病的一个新的独立危险因素,保持规律的睡眠可预防心脏病,就像体育锻炼、健康饮食等其他生活方式措施一样重要。
 
研究者说,他们仍然不清楚睡眠不规律和心血管疾病之间联系背后的确切生物学机制,但推测存在多种因素,包括干扰了人体昼夜节律。
 
此外,睡眠不规律与肥胖、糖尿病和高胆固醇血症等代谢异常有关,这也参与了心血管疾病的风险的增加。 
 
在这项研究中,研究人员随访了1992名45-84岁的居民,他们在研究开始时没有心血管疾病。他们被随访了大约5年(2010-2016年)。 参与者在手腕上戴上活动记录仪,连续7天(包括周末)密切监测睡眠和唤醒活动。
 
在5年的随访期间,111名参与者发生了不良心血管事件,包括心脏病发作和中风,或死于心血管疾病。
