近年来,已经证明肠道微生物群的病理变化,即所谓的肠道菌群失调,可能是高血压发展的一个潜在因素。预防这种菌群失调可以减弱或取消高血压。 目前,还缺乏预防肠道菌群失调的转化机制,也缺乏对肠道菌群失调与高血压相关机制的了解。   为了更好地了解高血压,最近在Circulation Research发表的研究揭示了高血压与肠道菌群的联系,即所谓的肠道菌群失调会对血压产生不利影响。 研究人员首先研究了间歇性禁食对改变肠道微生物群和降低血压的功效。利用自发性高血压大鼠和正常大鼠,设立了两组。一组有高血压大鼠和正常大鼠,每隔一天喂一次。而另一组对照组的高血压大鼠和正常大鼠,食物供应不受限制。 实验开始9周后,研究人员观察到,正如预期的那样,与正常对照组大鼠相比,高血压大鼠对照组高血压大鼠的血压更高。在每隔一天禁食的小组中,与没有禁食的高血压大鼠相比,高血压大鼠的血压明显降低。 研究人员进一步利用多组学方法检查微生物影响的代谢物,以了解这些代谢物作为肠道微生物群和宿主血压调节之间的联系,以及微生物群是否参与了在禁食的高血压大鼠中观察到的血压降低。 研究人员将禁食高血压大鼠的微生物群移植到A组
