“星星的孩子”有药可治了?低龄自闭症患儿新药被发现

最近,老药“布美他尼”新药性的发现,为自闭症治疗带来了希望。

自闭症,又称为儿童孤独症,是一种迄今无法明确病因导致的广泛性发育障碍。患儿常见表现包括社交障碍、语言障碍、重复刻板行为等。

自闭症的孩子中有3/4合并有精神发育迟滞,约50%患儿在青春期可合并癫痫发作。自闭症患者不聋,却对声响充耳不闻;他们也不哑,但不知该如何开口说话。由于自闭症患儿就像星星一样闪烁着微弱且孤独的光芒,因此常被称为“星星的孩子”。

自闭症形成的原因一直没有定性说法,因此在治疗上也非常棘手,目前治疗方法以教育训练为主,以药物服用为辅。但自闭症的预后通常较差,这让很多家长手足无措,添加对孩子未来命运的担忧。

最近,老药“布美他尼”新药性的发现,为自闭症治疗带来了希望。

据了解,上海交通大学医学院附属新华医院李斐教授领衔的团队,与复旦大学类脑智能科学与技术研究院冯建峰教授、罗强副研究员团队、英国剑桥大学Barbara J Sahakian教授团队等合作,在Science Bulletin杂志上发表了研究论文,提示布美他尼或有望成为干预低龄自闭症的新型药物,布美他尼是一种利尿剂,具有价格便宜、药性温和、副作用小、儿科广泛使用等优势,或会给自闭症患儿的父母带来希望。

研究发现,经过3个月布美他尼干预,3-6岁自闭症患儿的社交沟通障碍、感知觉障碍等核心症状据有明显改善,用药安全有效。

不过,布美他尼还不是特效药,2月25日,上海交通大学医学院附属新华医院官微@新华医学科普发布“重要提醒”:布美他尼目前还没有从研究到真正的临床适应与推广,目前在新华医院里使用布美他尼的病人,都是在严格的管控和评估之下进行的。希望大家一方面要保持乐观,另一方面要有耐心,切勿造成药物的滥用。
