SCI ADV:妊娠期运动可预防子代肥胖

最近,研究人员发现了一个以前未被确定的解释,肥胖是由于缺乏母体运动造成的。

现今,人群的肥胖率迅速上升,有人将其归因于缺乏运动和能量摄入过多。

最近,研究人员发现了一个以前未被确定的解释,肥胖是由于缺乏母体运动造成的。

在这项研究中,研究人员将健康的母体小鼠分配到久坐的生活方式或每天锻炼,并分析了胎儿棕色脂肪组织(BAT)的发育和后代的代谢健康状况。

与久坐组相比,母体运动增强了Prdm16启动子的DNA脱甲基化和BAT发育,并在高能量饮食的挑战下防止了后代肥胖。

Apelin是一种外源性激素,在母体和胎儿循环中均因运动而升高,母体给药apelin可模仿运动对胎儿BAT发育和后代代谢健康的有益影响。

总之,母体运动能增强小鼠的产热能力和子代小鼠的代谢健康,这表明妊娠期久坐的生活方式可能是导致现代社会肥胖流行的原因之一。
