我国科学家经过6年攻关，从血吸虫分泌蛋白中鉴定出一个具有诊断价值的标识分子，并对其进行血吸虫病流行区的现场验证，表明其诊断敏感性比传统方法提高了6倍，解决了现有诊断技术敏感性不足这一根本问题。最新一期国际顶级学术期刊《柳叶刀·传染病》以论著形式在线发表了这一成果。

“973”首席科学家、第二军医大学热卫系热带传染病学教研室主任潘卫庆介绍说，当前我国血吸虫病防控总体策略是以传染源控制为主的综合防治策略。控制传染源重要途径是要能及时准确发现感染者，并对所有感染者加以有效治疗。由于目前血吸虫病流行特点是以低度感染为主，诊断低度感染者需要高敏感度的技术。

潘卫庆率领团队，建立融合分泌蛋白高通量筛选技术平台，从基因组范围大规模筛查具有诊断价值的标识分子，从200多个血吸虫分泌蛋白中鉴定出一个具有诊断价值的标识分子(即SjSP-13)，结果显示这个诊断分子具有高度敏感性和特异性。在此基础上，团队对SjSP-13诊断分子进行血吸虫病流行区的现场验证，表明其诊断敏感性比传统方法提高了6倍。潘卫庆说，这个分子的应用必将为血吸虫病总体防控策略的实施提供重要的技术支持，为我国血吸虫病防控乃至消除将产生积极影响。

柳叶刀·传染病》(The　LANCET　Infectious　Diseases)同期专门配发的美国约翰霍普金斯大学彭博公共卫生学院克莱夫·席夫教授的评论文章说：“这个研究团队从全基因组范围筛选出敏感的诊断分子，将极大改进血吸虫检测技术，从而为全球血吸虫病流行程度作出全面客观的评估。”中国疾病控制中心寄生虫病预防控制所所长周晓农认为：“这项研究围绕我国当前血吸虫病从控制走向消除这一需求，对血吸虫病筛查正确率和监测敏感性的提升起到了积极推动作用，是依靠科学研究解决防治中关键技术问题的一个典范。”
