Karyopharm是一家专注于肿瘤学的制药公司，近日宣布，XPOVIO（Selinexor）治疗难治性多发性骨髓瘤患者的IIb期STORM研究结果已经发表于《新英格兰医学杂志》。XPOVIO于2019年7月3日获得美国FDA的加速批准，用于治疗复发难治多发性骨髓瘤（RRMM）的成年患者，这些患者至少接受过四次治疗并且其疾病难以治愈。

STORM研究的首席研究员，西奈山医学院Tisch癌症研究所的Sundar Jagannath博士说，“STORM研究的数据表明，RRMM患者对口服XPOVIO联合地塞米松的反应率为26％，总生存期（OS）为15.6个月”。
