研究人员从37名经历前列腺切术术后2-5个月的HRLPCa患者中抽取了血液样本。研究发现,在81.1%(30/37)的样本中检测到了CTCs,均值为2.4 CTCs/ml (范围: 0-22.9)。具有可检测CTCs的患者表现出了更短复发时间的倾向(p=0.12),并且所有具有BCR的患者均具有可检测的CTCs。研究人员还在18.9%的患者中检测到了AR的过表达。具有BCR的患者具有更多的CTC拷贝数变异(CNAs, p=0.027)。匹配的肿瘤组织和单个CTC测序阐释了具有异质性。
