J Endod：辐照后患者的根管治疗效果：系列病例观察

颌骨的放射性骨坏死(ORN)被认为是发生在放射治疗后患者身上可能长期出现的最严重副作用。在受辐照患者中，拔牙和牙齿疾病是ORN的主要风险因素。这篇系列病例报道的目的是为了评估经历了头颈放射治疗后患者根管治疗的效果，并评估任何与牙髓治疗相关的ORN。

颌骨的放射性骨坏死(ORN)被认为是发生在放射治疗后患者身上可能长期出现的最严重副作用。在受辐照患者中，拔牙和牙齿疾病是ORN的主要风险因素。这篇系列病例报道的目的是为了评估经历了头颈放射治疗后患者根管治疗的效果，并评估任何与牙髓治疗相关的ORN。在此项系列病例中，有8名因头颈癌接受放射治疗患者的10颗牙齿实施了根管治疗（无透射影像）。通过放疗计划CT扫描计算根尖区的放射剂量。在平均277天的随访后，所有患者均无症状，没有牙齿根尖X线存在透射影像，未见ORN发生。即使在放射治疗和复杂牙髓治疗后存在limitation of buccal opening，根管治疗看起来也是安全可靠的，并且是牙齿拔除有效的替代方法。原始出处：Castagnola R， Minciacchi I， et al.
