本研究纳入30例经组织学证实的前列腺癌患者，33例良性前列腺增生(BPH)患者和21例健康对照者。提取自精液样本的cfDNA定量分析采用Qubit ssDNA试剂盒和Agilent 2100生物分析仪。统计分析包括:Levene检验、Shapiro-Wilk、Kolmogorov-Smirnov和Kruskal Wallis检验。

研究结果显示PCa患者中的cfDNA中位数为428.45ng / mL（173.93–1159.62），而BPH患者为77.4μng/ mL（18.23–501）和健康对照者为25.4μng/ mL（15.37–76.62）。 与BPH和对照组相比，PCa患者中长于1000个碱基对的scfDNA片段更为常见。

在前列腺癌、前列腺增生和健康对照组中，scfDNA浓度和片段大小有显著差异。这两个参数都是PCa潜在的临床生物标志物，可以用于早期诊断和随访。使用自动化系统进行高通量cfDNA定量可以提高方法的可重复性，并有助于在临床环境中实施液体活检。
