近日，顶级杂志BMJ上发表了一篇研究文章，研究人员通过对流行病学研究进行系统评价和荟萃分析，旨在调查砷、铅、镉、汞和铜与心血管疾病之间的关系。

该荟萃分析的数据来源于PubMed、Embase和Web of Science数据库，截止时间至2017年12月。研究人员纳入报告了砷、铅、镉、汞或铜水平所致总体心血管疾病、冠心病和卒中风险评估的研究。两名研究人员根据PRISMA和MOOSE指南独立提取有关研究特征和结局的信息。并使用随机效应荟萃分析将相对风险标准化为共同的量表，以及对每个标记的研究进行汇总。

该分析确定了37项研究，包含348259名非重叠参与者，其中13033名冠心病患者，4205名卒中患者和15274名心血管疾病患者。研究人员比较了各种物质基线水平最高与最低三分之一个体，对于砷和铅所致心血管疾病汇总相对风险分别为1.30（95％置信区间为1.04-1.63）和1.43（1.16-1.76），冠心病汇总相对风险分别为1.23（1.04-1.45）和1.85（1.27-2.69），卒中汇总相对风险分别分别为1.15（0.92-1.43）和1.63（1.14-2.34）。对于镉和铜所致心血管疾病的相对风险分别为1.33（1.09-1.64）和1.81（1.05-3.11），冠心病的相对风险分别为1.29（0.98-1.71）和2.22（1.31-3.74），以及卒的相对风险分别为1.72（1.29-2.28）和1.29（0.77-2.17）。汞与心血管结局之间没有明显的关联。砷、铅和镉与心血管疾病结局存在线性剂量-反应关系。

由此可见，接触砷、铅、镉和铜与心血管疾病和冠心病的风险增加有关。汞与心血管风险无关。这些发现强调了环境中有毒金属在心血管风险中的重要性，超越了传统行为危险因素的作用。
