结果证明,组蛋白H3 Lys-4在许多基因座的启动子区域被三甲基化,其中只有一部分,包括细胞周期相关基因,在转录环节被上调。在组蛋白甲基化模式和转录组的指导下进行的Cistrome分析确定FOXM1是促进肝脏再生的关键转录因子,在体外使用肝癌细胞系证实了这一点。细胞周期相关基因和Foxm1的启动子区域获得更高水平的三甲基化组蛋白H3 Lys-4,这表明这些关键调控基因的表观遗传学调控决定了肝细胞的静止和再生。对再生肝脏的蛋白质组学定量分析表明,条件蛋白降解还介导了再生特异性蛋白表达。
