杜兰大学公共卫生与热带医学学院流行病学系的博士后研究员Hui-Jie Zhang博士和他的同事进行了一项随机临床试验,纳入220例中央肥胖和非酒精性脂肪性肝病患者(平均年龄53.9岁;女性占67.7%)。

剧烈运动组(n = 73)的患者每周以最大心率的65%-80%慢跑150分钟,持续6个月;然后每周以最大心率的45%-55%快走150分钟,持续6个月。适度运动组(n = 73)的患者每周快走150分钟,持续12个月。对照组(n = 74) 的患者则不运动,持续12个月。研究人员通过质子磁共振波谱测量IHTG内容。此外,他们还记录了体重、腰围、体脂和代谢危险因素的变化。

6个月的评估数据显示,与对照组相比,剧烈运动组和适度运动组的IHTG含量分别降低了5% (95% CI, –7.2% to 2.8%)和4.2% (95% CI, –6.3% to –2%)。

12个月的评估数据显示,与对照组相比,剧烈运动组和适度运动组的IHTG含量分别降低了3.9% (95% CI, –6% to –1.7%)和3.5% (95% CI, –5.6% to –1.3%)。

对体重减少进行校正后,研究者发现两组之间的最重要的差异竟然无统计学意义。虽然两组的体重、腰围和血压均有改善,但是只有剧烈运动组能够减少身体脂肪。

研究人员写道,这项研究支持当前对非酒精性脂肪肝患者的运动管理:每周150分钟的适度或中等强度运动。

“相比剧烈运动,适度运动是更可持续的,并且提供了大部分的剧烈运动的好处,它应该被推荐用于非酒精性脂肪肝的预防和治疗,”研究人员写道。“研究表明,运动干预对IHTG含量减少的效果最有可能是通过减肥而介导的。”
