尿碘(UI)是评价碘状态的常用指标，而血清碘(SI)与生物可利用碘的关系更为密切。然而，目前尚无可靠的参考区间(RIs)可用于临床实践。本研究的目的是建立适用于中国人群的SI、UI和UI与尿肌酐(U-Cre)比值的RIs。

这项多中心横断面研究于2017年共招募了来自中国6个代表性城市(北京、东营、贵阳、乌鲁木齐、深圳和齐齐哈尔)的930名健康的成年人。研究人员对其进行甲状腺超声检查和甲状腺功能检查，包括抗甲状腺抗体检查，以排除潜在甲状腺疾病患者。同时，进行了与碘摄入相关的问卷调查。采用电感耦合等离子体质谱法测定SI和UI。采用多元回归分析评价可能的碘水平影响因素。

本研究最终分析纳入894人。研究结果显示，海产品摄入频率与SI(标准化偏回归系数= 0.23)呈正相关，与UI、UI/U-Cre无相关。SI与血清TT4 (Spearman相关系数:0.40)、TT3(0.23)、FT4(0.18)呈正相关。SI和UI没有显示出年龄或性别特异性的变化。齐齐哈尔样本UI/U-Cre值明显高于北京、贵州和深圳。在所有被评估的城市中，深圳的用户界面水平最低。应用潜伏异常值排除程序后，人群中SI、UI、UI/U-Cre的RI分别为36.0～79.3 μg/L、19～385 μg/L、22～450 μg/g。

因此，本研究为无甲状腺结节或功能障碍的健康中国人中建立了UI和SI的RIs。
