通用样本库(USB) 通过健康问卷进行筛选包括健康受试者,426名男性和417名女性。血红蛋白A1c (>URL 6.5%)、NT-proBNP (>URL 125 ng/L)和eGFR (<60 mL/min)与他汀类药物一起作为替代的生物标志物排除标准。第99百分位数由非参数、Harrell-Davis引导和稳健方法确定。

研究结果显示,受试者年龄在19-91岁之间,其中白种人58%,非洲裔美国人27%,太平洋岛民/亚洲人11%,其他4%,西班牙裔8%,非西班牙裔92%。 在排除之前和之后(n = 694),所有检测的总体和有性别特异性的第99个百分位数受所用统计方法的影响,并且在hs-cTnI和hs-cTnT检测之间和之内都存在显著的差异。男性的百分位数(ng / L)比女性高。在≥50%的女性中,Roche cTnT和Beckman和Abbott cTnI检测(排除后)未检测到≥检出限的cTn值。

研究表明,因为性别特异性的99百分位数根据统计方法和使用的hs-cTn分析而变化,并不是所有的分析都提供了足够高百分比的可测量浓度在妇女中符合hs-分析,而用于定义正态性的替代排除标准倾向于降低第99百分位数。
