Front Immunol：钛种植体释放的钛离子可影响植体周围免疫细胞

结果显示，虽然LC前体（CD11c + MHCII +）的百分比在种植体周围上皮中增加，但LC的频率（CD11c + MHCII + EpCAM + langerin +）明显降低。相反，表达CD11c + MHCII + EpCAM +而不是langerin的部分发育的LC群体在种植体周围粘膜中进化，同时有大量的白细胞浸润。与LC前体水平增加一致，CCL2和CCL20的表达在种植体周围上皮中升高。然而，在上皮细胞中，驱动LCs最终分化的主要细胞因子TGF-β1的表达降低。

进一步分析显示，虽然TGF-β1经典受体激活样激酶（ALK）5的表达上调，但其非经典受体ALK3的表达降低。由于提出从植入物释放的钛离子改变APC功能，我们接下来分析了这些离子对TGF-β1诱导的LC分化培养物的影响。结果显示，与体内研究一致，钛离子的存在导致部分发育的LC的产生，其表达CD11c + MHCII + EpCAM +但不能上调langerin表达。

总的来说，这些研究结果表明钛牙种植体可损害口腔LC，并可能随后在种植体周围粘膜中调节机体的免疫力。
