这篇研究的目的是为了体外评估一种全新TruNatomy (TN; (Dentsply Sirona, Ballaigues, Switzerland)成形锉的在静态和动态条件下的机械特质,并与常规旋转系统ProTaper Next (PTN, Dentsply Sirona)做比较。

研究比较2种不同型号旋转器械TN和PTN的疲劳极限(n = 20 each size)和扭转阻力(n = 6 each size),并进行模拟成形(n = 6 each size)。在1个包含模拟弯曲根管(angle = 75°, radius = 5 mm)、测温探诊和冷却气流(minimum of 2 bars)的全新检测装置(确保温度上升低于2°C)中检测其疲劳极限。基于ISO 3630-1标准检测扭转阻力。在一个含标准J型弯曲模拟根管的塑料块中进行模拟成形,通过计算机控制装置实时记录扭矩和力。通过SEM观察评估折断模式。采用Parametric statistics和Weibull检验进行组间比较。

结果显示,所测试的不同型号TN的抗疲劳强度与可靠度明显强于PTN;2者的扭转极限相似,但TN在折断时的反转角更大。在模拟成形过程中未发生器械折断,但TN的工作转矩和攻丝力明显更低。

结论:这篇研究通过疲劳极限和扭转阻力的检测评估了TN和PTN的机械特质,并对2者进行比较。TN的抗疲劳强度更高,并且与PTN相比,其扭矩和攻丝力更可预测。
