欧洲生物变异研究(EuBIVAS)的建立是为了提供严格确定的生物变异数据(BV)。本研究中，EuBIVAS-based BV为α1酸性糖蛋白，α1抗胰蛋白酶，白蛋白，β2微球蛋白，血浆铜蓝蛋白，补体成分3，补体成分4，C反应蛋白（CRP），半胱氨酸蛋白酶抑制剂C，结合珠蛋白，IgA，IgG，IgM抗体，可溶性转铁蛋白受体（sTfR） ，和转铁蛋白（TRF）的估计值，并提供与它们相关的分析性能指标和参考变化值。

在罗氏Cobas c702重复分析之前，对来自6个欧洲实验室的91名健康研究参与者(38名男性和53名女性，年龄21-69岁)连续10周的每周血样进行血清保存于- 80°C。对相关趋势校正数据进行离群值和方差齐性分析，然后进行CV-ANOVA分析，以确定BV，并使用CI和相关RCV分析变异估计值。

对于急性期蛋白，研究中几名参与者出现了轻微的炎症发作，需要对25290例结果中的7%进行排除。我们研究中获得的特定蛋白的受试者内BV (CVI)估计值低于2014年在线BV数据库中的估计值(除了Trf)，而受试者间BV (CVG)估计值与此类似。之前未发表的sTfR的CVI和CVG估计值分别为6.0%和19.1%。

研究表明，除了新的sTfR的BV估计数外，这项EuBIVAS亚研究为经常需要的血浆特异性蛋白生成了更高要求的APS。除非CRP被用作心血管疾病的危险因素，否则CRP的APS不应根据BV数据进行计算。
