最近,有研究人员调查了是否分泌的卷曲相关蛋白5(SFRP5)可以通过阻断Wnt家族5A(WNT5A)信号通路的激活来调节与嗜酸性粒细胞浸润和粘蛋白分泌相关的细胞因子的产生。研究人员在AR的小鼠模型中研究显示,SFRP5低表达,WNT5A高表达,嗜酸性粒细胞和杯状细胞的数量增加,同时IL-13、集落刺激因子2(CSF2)、趋化因子配体11(CCL11)、Mucin 4和Mucin 5AC水平升高。更多的是,慢病毒-SFRP5过表达可上调SFRP5的表达,但下调WNT5A的水平,并通过降低rhIL-13处理的人鼻腔上皮细胞(HNEpCs)中p-JNK1/2(Thr183/Tyr185)和p-c-Jun(Ser73)蛋白的表达来抑制JNK通路的激活。明显的是,SFRP5过表达能够通过降低CSF2、CCL11、Mucin 4以及Mucin 5AC的水平,明显减少了rhIL-13诱导的炎症蛋白和黏蛋白的生成。

最后,研究人员指出,他们的发现证实了SFRP5/WNT5A在rhIL-13介导的HNEpCs炎症反应中存在调节作用
