碳水化合物缺乏转铁蛋白(CDT)是妊娠期监测酒精使用最常用的生物标志物之一。然而，它在这方面的有效应用受到CDT值在怀孕期间(甚至在禁欲妇女中)的生理进行性增长的限制，在妊娠晚期，CDT值可以达到接近或超过临床和法医诊断中通常采用的截断值。因此，本研究旨在重新评估妊娠期CDT参考值。

CDT分析采用经验证的HPLC-UV Vis方法对284例生理妊娠妇女血清样本和370例普通人群(对照组)非妊娠妇女血清样本进行。所有样本还进行了GGT排除酒精滥用的测试。采用MedCalc®统计软件进行统计分析。

根据Horn和Pesce稳健方法对具体参考浓度进行了重新定义。所得到的CDT上参考值分别为1.45%、2.01%和2.05%，分别在妊娠第一、第二和第三个月。

为了预防孕妇和胎儿产前酒精暴露并发症的发生，已经提出使用酒精生物标志物，包括CDT。然而，这种用于监测怀孕期间酒精使用的生物标记，迄今为止一直采用与一般人群相同的截止值，而没有考虑到其在整个怀孕期间的生理价值的逐渐增加。在本研究中，我们对每个妊娠期的CDT参考浓度进行了重新评估。
