Equillium是一家生物技术公司，利用对免疫生物学的深刻理解，开发治疗严重自身免疫和炎症性疾病的产品。Equillium宣布计划开发EQ001用于治疗狼疮性肾炎（LN）。在2019年第一季度，Equillium仍在按计划启动急性移植物抗宿主病（aGVHD）的平衡期Ib / II试验，并于2019年第二季度启动严重哮喘的概念验证试验。

Equillium董事长兼首席执行官Daniel Bradbury说：“我们探索EQ001治疗狼疮性肾炎的决定与我们帮助患有严重自身免疫性疾病患者的目标是一致的。仅在美国就有超过100,000名LN患者，目前没有FDA批准的治疗方法。此外，我们认为EQ001调节致病性T细胞的活性具有独特机制，因此我们有理由相信EQ001治疗狼疮性肾炎的可行性”。
