安帝康生物抗流感1类新药在中国获批临床,加速抗感染领域创新药研发

近日,安帝康(无锡)生物科技有限公司自主研发的用于治疗和预防甲型、乙型流感的候选新药ADC189的临床试验申请(IND),获得了中国国家药品监督管理局药品审评中心(CDE)的默示许可。

安帝康成立于2018年,位于无锡,专注于抗感染领域的Best in class的创新药研发。

ADC189具有全新的抗流感作用机制,可以直接抑制病毒的复制。它属于Cap依赖型核酸内切酶抑制剂,通过抑制流感病毒中的CAP帽子结构依赖性内切核酸酶。该酶对于流感病毒的复制是必不可少的。

安帝康生物对ADC189的设计和开发,旨在对抗甲型和乙型流感病毒,包括对奥司他韦(oseltamivir)耐药的流感株和禽流感株(H7N9,H5N1)。“头对头”研究的数据显示,相较于另一款同靶点对照药物,ADC189具有无中枢神经系统副作用、口服吸收不受食物影响、更高安全剂量等安全性优势,显示出"best-in-class"的特征。

值得一提的是,这款在研新药单剂量口服“一粒”,可以在24小时内阻断流感病毒复制。这有望给患者用药带来了极大便利。

据安帝康生物创始人蒋维平博士介绍,ADC189获批临床是公司迎来的一项里程碑进展。目前,安帝康生物团队已启动1期临床研究,由抗感染领域的顶级临床专家牵头,在新生儿、青少年、成人、老年人群体中评估ADC189用于治疗、预防甲型和乙型流感等适应症的临床疗效。

“我们将加快推动ADC189的临床进程,力争成为首款中国自主研发并获批上市的抗流感1类创新药,为中国和全球患者带来可“愈”可“及”的全新解决方案。”蒋维平博士表示。

安帝康生物科学家团队长期专注于抗感染领域小分子创新药研发。自公司创立以来,务实、高效的研发团队仅2年时间已经建立起包含8款候选药物的研发管线。中国专利授权2项,国际PCT专利申请多个。多位院士、行业专家深度参与,并提供全面的研发、临床支持。

据了解,安帝康生物目前正在进行高达6000万元人民币A轮融资,清介资本担任本次融资的独家财务顾问。
