帕金森症药物（ITI-214）可能对心力衰竭患者有效

一类名为磷酸二酯酶（PDE）I型抑制剂的化合物（ITI-214）目前正处于治疗帕金森病的临床试验中，并显示出犬和兔心脏肌肉收缩强度的增加，预示着该药物不仅对帕金森症有效，有可能对心力衰竭患者同样有效。约翰斯霍普金斯大学的研究人员对该药物的作用进行了体内研究，现在正处于早期临床试验阶段。

目前有许多药物可用于治疗心力衰竭，但是那些加强心肌收缩的药物会带来危险的副作用，例如心律不齐的产生。目前正在进行临床试验证明，ITI-214抑制PDE，而PDE是一种分解细胞内其他信使分子的酶。该团队最初在小鼠身上测试药物，其后决定对狗、兔和分离的兔心脏细胞进行测试，因为已知PDE酶在人类中的形式与小鼠中的形式大不相同。

口服剂量为每公斤体重10毫克，该药物使健康心脏中泵出血液量增加了50％。在心力衰竭的模型中，使心脏中泵出血液量增加了30％。当静脉内给药时，该药物具有相似但更快的效果。
