妊娠剧吐是发生于妊娠早期至妊娠16周之间、以恶心呕吐频繁为重要症状的一组症候群，发病率为0.3%-1%。恶性呕吐者可因酸中毒、电解质紊乱、肝肾衰竭而死亡。


Buyukkayaci Duman N等人对妊娠剧吐孕妇进行了一项病例对照试验，以探究妊娠剧吐对孕产妇和胎儿/新生儿的影响。该研究共纳入了100名孕妇，其中50名为正常妊娠孕妇，50名为妊娠剧吐孕妇。研究者们收集孕妇的相关人口统计学资料、妊娠并发症、新生儿健康情况等数据。对孕产妇进行了贝克抑郁问卷（BDI）和状态焦虑问卷（SAI）。同时记录了孕妇血常规、甲功、电解质、生化等检查结果数据。

研究结果显示，妊娠剧吐孕妇在产后其平均体重、血清血红蛋白水平、血细胞压积、促甲状腺激素均低于正常组，p<0.01。但是妊娠剧吐组其三碘甲状腺原氨酸（T3）、甲状腺素（T4）比正常组高，p<0.01。妊娠剧吐组和正常组在胎儿宫内生长受限、低体重儿、流产三方面相比差别无统计学意义。妊娠剧吐组早产儿发生率更高。妊娠剧吐组孕产妇BDI和SAI得分更高。

研究结果表明，妊娠剧吐对孕产妇和胎儿均有一定的不良影响。因此对妊娠剧吐孕妇，应该提供训练有素、可供咨询的服务，同时建议根据贫血、甲状腺激素等情况，对孕妇进行严密监测。
