2018年9月27日，一家开发免疫激活剂以治疗难治实体肿瘤的生物技术公司Targovax ASA宣称，前6名接受ONCOS-102联合KEYTRUDA治疗的晚期黑色素瘤患者取得了反应数据，结果显示6名患者中的1名对治疗有完全反应。

2018年9月27日，一家开发免疫激活剂以治疗难治实体肿瘤的生物技术公司Targovax ASA宣称，前6名接受ONCOS-102联合KEYTRUDA治疗的晚期黑色素瘤患者取得了反应数据，结果显示6名患者中的1名对治疗有完全反应。该试验的主要目的之一已经得以实现，这表明ONCOS-102具有激活难治性患者对免疫检查点抑制剂KEYTRUDA反应的潜力。

在KEYTRUDA治疗之前，患者接受了三次ONCOS-102注射，这在高度晚期疾病中可能是不足的。因此，Targovax的研究人员打算通过增加ONCOS-102注射次数来优化给药方案。

Targovax的首席营销官MagnusJäderberg博士说：“迄今为止完成研究的患者数量有限，然而令人鼓舞的是，已经在难治性患者群体中看到对ONCOS-102引发的KEYTRUDA治疗的完全反应。与此同时，5名患者出现疾病进展，我们认为可能的原因是ONCOS-102的注射次数不足。因此，我们将于与研究人员一起扩大试验范围，其他患者将接受更多次的ONCOS-102注射”。
