JCEM:甲状旁腺激素与骨密度的关系

这项研究表明血清PTH浓度与几处骨骼的BMD呈负相关。进一步的分析显示,血清PTH水平与BMD之间存在部位和年龄的相关性,这意味着血清高PTH水平促进骨质疏松症的发生发展。

越来越多的证据表明甲状旁腺激素(PTH)参与了骨质疏松症的发生发展。但是,PTH与骨密度(BMD)的因果关系尚未明确。近日,内分泌和代谢性疾病领域权威杂志Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism上发表了一篇研究文章,该研究旨在探讨血清PTH浓度与BMD之间的关系。

PTH的工具变量选自大规模的全基因组关联研究(GWAS)[n=29155]。结局包括前臂(FA)[n=8143]、股骨颈(FN)[n=33297]、腰椎(LS)[n=32735]、足跟(HL)[n=394929]的BMD以及这些骨头发生骨折的风险(n=361194)。此外,研究人员从GWAS荟萃分析研究中提取了5个年龄段的BMD;15岁或更小[n=11807]、15-30[4180]、30-45[10062]、45-60[18805]和超过60岁[22504]。研究人员使用两样本孟德尔随机(MR)方法进行分析。

MR分析显示血清PTH水平与FA(95%CI:-0.669至-0.304)、FN(95%CI:-0.669至-0.304)和LS(95%CI:-0.667至-0.243)BMD呈负相关。在30-45岁(95%CI:-0.888至-0.166)、45-60(95%CI:-0.758至-0.232)和60岁以上(95%CI:-0.649至-0.163)人群中观察到血清PTH水平与BMD之间存在因果关系。

这项研究表明血清PTH浓度与几处骨骼的BMD呈负相关。进一步的分析显示,血清PTH水平与BMD之间存在部位和年龄的相关性,这意味着血清高PTH水平促进骨质疏松症的发生发展。
