JAMA：平平无奇糖尿病发病年龄居然与痴呆风险相关！

糖尿病发病年龄越早，随后痴呆发生风险越高。

痴呆症是全球医疗难题。2型糖尿病-一种在老年人中比较普遍的糖尿病 - 增加发生痴呆的风险。1型糖尿病，通常在生命早期开始，并且总是用胰岛素治疗;但是对于2型糖尿病，却有多种不同的治疗方法，包括生活方式的改变和不同的药物。 一项最新研究表明，大脑中胰岛素信号受损可能会对认知、情绪和代谢产生不利影响，而这些都是阿尔茨海默病的常见症状。虽然这两种情况似乎是相互独立的，但早期的研究发现，2型糖尿病患者更容易罹患阿尔茨海默病。 去年发表在Cochrane系统上的综述在纳入7项随机对照试验共13934名参与者后没有发现任何有力的证据证明针对2型糖尿病的具体的治疗或治疗策略可以预防或延缓认知障碍。现有的最佳相关证据：强化与标准血糖控制策略的比较。 那么，2型糖尿病发病年龄与随后的痴呆症风险之间有什么关联？为此，来自法国巴黎大学衰老与神经退行性疾病研究中心的专家开展了相关的前瞻性队列研究。结果发表在最新的《美国医学会杂志》JAMA上。 该项在英国进行基于人口的研究，即Whitehall II期前瞻性队列研究，建立于1985-1988年，在1991-1993年、1997-1999年、2002-2004年
