葛兰素史克和合作伙伴 Vir Biotechnology 近日报告了临床前研究结果，表明他们的 COVID-19抗体治疗 sotrovimab 对 Omicron 变体保持疗效。两家公司表示，他们现在正在完成进一步的测试，以确认 sotrovimab 对Omicron全部突变的中和活性，并计划在年底前提供更新。Vir 首席执行官 George Scangos 指出，“sotrovimab 的设计考虑到了突变病毒”，并且“通过靶向不太可能突变的刺突蛋白的高度保守区域来解决当前的SARS-CoV-2病毒”。见：早期测试表明 GSK 的 COVID-19 抗体对 Omicron 有效

事实上，此前有研究表明，各类抗体，仅仅sotrovimab和DXP-604有更好的疗效，而在中国前不久获批的安巴韦单抗注射液（BRII-196）对Omicron虽然也有效，但是作用已大大下降见：中和抗体能对抗奥密克戎（Omicron）突变株吗？谢晓亮教授给您答案（附下载）.

然而，在BA.2亚突变株面前，sotrovimab也失败了，sotrovimab对BA.2的活性下降了27倍，同样BRII-196也几乎无效了。那么DXP-604是否仍然有效，还不可知。FDA已经在美国东北部大部分地区撤销了对该单克隆抗体疗法Sotrovimab的授权。

不过这确实表明，BA.2的免疫逃逸能力确实超一流，胡大一先生筛选了17种单克隆抗体，结果发现仅礼来一款抗体bebtelovimab有效，见：Nature：何大一团队发现，礼来最新获批单抗对奥密克戎各亚型有效

对于新冠病毒不断突变，单克隆抗体似乎很难完全应对，不过小分子药物被证实可能更有效。辉瑞PAXLOVID被证实对BA.2同样有效。
