12月17日，复星医药全球研发中心总裁兼首席医学官回爱民在接受记者采访时透露，经国家药监局批准，复星医药以于11月24日在江苏开展mRNA新冠核酸疫苗BNT162b2的Ⅱ期临床试验。预计在2021年，由复星医药参与国际合作研发的至少1亿剂疫苗，将有望供给国内公众接种。

昨日，复星医药发布公告称，公司已与BioNTech达成协议，旨在确保中国疫苗 “供应充足”。其公告显示，根据供货协议，供应的首批5000万剂新冠疫苗产品的预付款为2.5亿欧元，其中1.25亿欧元于2020年12月30日前支付，余额于产品在中国大陆获批上市后支付。

路透社的报道称，在BioNTech研发的mRNA新冠疫苗产品获得中国大陆上市批准且其它条件满足的情况下，BioNTech承诺于2021年向中国大陆供应不少于1亿剂新冠疫苗产品。

据外媒报道，目前，BionTech在美国出售的新冠疫苗价格为两支33欧元。而其与辉瑞联合推出的mRNA疫苗已经在美国、英国和新加坡等国获得批准。
