克罗恩病(CD)是一种慢性肠道炎症性疾病,与肠道菌群失调有关。饮食可以调节肠道微生物组,因此具有治疗潜力。本研究中,研究人员确定了三种特定碳水化合物饮食(SCD)对活动性克罗恩病的潜在疗效,研究结果已发表于Nutrients。

研究纳入18名7-18岁的轻度/中度CD患者(PCDAI 15-45),随机分配到SCD、改良SCD(MSCD)或全食物(WF)饮食。基线、2、4、8和12周时对患者进行PCDAI、炎症实验室和多组学评估。

 

结果显示,患者的平均年龄为14.3±2.9岁。在第12周,所有完成研究的参与者(n = 10)都达到了临床缓解。SCD组的C反应蛋白从入组时的1.3 ± 0.7下降到12周时的0.9 ± 0.5。在MSCD组,CRP从入组时的1.6±1.1下降到12周时的0.7±0.1。在WF组,CRP从入学时的3.9 ± 4.3下降到12周时的1.6 ± 1.3。此外,在整个研究期间,所有患者的微生物组组成都发生了变化。虽然这些变化的性质在很大程度上是患者特异性的,但预测的生物体活性增加和减少的代谢模式在所有患者中是一致的。

综上,这项研究强调了饮食对CD的影响。每种饮食对症状和炎症负担都有积极影响;更多的排他性饮食与炎症的更好解决有关。
