2017年6月至8月在北京协和医院，研究人员对221例疑似原发性醛固酮增多症患者的血清进行回顾性分析。采用LC-MS/MS方法和三种不同的CLIA系统(即: DiaSorin®XL、iSYS和Auto Lumo A2000)检测sALD水平，并使用混合新鲜血清样本用于重新校准。使用Passing-Bablok回归分析、相关矩阵和Bland-Altman图来评估使用三种CLIAs测定的ALD水平之间的一致性。

研究结果显示，除一种CLIA的系数变化（CV）对于低sALD水平的样品超过20.0％之外，四种测定的实验室内精密度在2.1％至9.4％范围内。 使用LC-MS / MS测定的sALD水平显着低于使用其他三种CLIA测定的sALD水平（p <0.0001）。 四种测定的Spearman相关系数在0.745至0.950之间（p <0.0001）。 Bland-Altman图显示，三种CLIA和LC-MS / MS的平均偏差（％）在-69.3至-49.2之间。 重新校准后，这些相关性在测定之间没有得到改善。 但是，在LC-MS / MS和DiaSorin®XL / iSYS之间，医疗决策级别的偏差和偏差百分比有所提高。

研究结果表明，CLIAs和LC-MS/MS的结果之间存在显著的不一致性，这表明不同的sALD措施不能互换使用。
