Neurocrine制药公司近日宣布，美国FDA已接受其新型选择性儿茶酚-O-甲基转移酶（COMT）抑制剂Opicapone作为帕金森病患者发生OFF事件时左旋多巴/卡比多巴的辅助治疗申请。

Neurocrine制药公司近日宣布，美国FDA已接受其新型选择性儿茶酚-O-甲基转移酶（COMT）抑制剂Opicapone作为帕金森病患者发生OFF事件时左旋多巴/卡比多巴的辅助治疗申请。帕金森病是一种慢性、进行性和使人衰弱的神经退行性疾病，大约影响一百万美国人。

Neurocrine Biosciences的首席医疗官，医学博士Eiry W. Roberts说：“由于该疾病的进行性神经退行性作用，患有帕金森病的人经常难以控制其运动。对于Opicapone，我们的目标是通过为帕金森病患者提供一种新的治疗方案来延长左旋多巴的益处。我们期待与FDA合作实现这一目标”。
