生物膜存在于超过70%罹患牙髓疾病的牙齿。通过二代测序(NGS)技术的提高,微生物的研究已经达到对人体宿主内寄生的微生物菌落的深层剖析。在此,本文回顾了使用NGS检测根管内微生物菌落模式的研究。本文总共鉴定并认真回顾分析了PubMed上的 12篇同行评审文章。研究条件如下:NGS平台、测序的细菌高变区、包含患者信息的牙齿诊断、样本特征、收集方法和微生物标记。结果显示,最常用的NGS平台为454焦磷酸测序(Roche Diagnostic Corporation, Risch-Rotkreuz, Switzerland)和基于Illumina的技术(Illumina Inc, San Diego, CA)。测序的高变区域在V1和V6之间。患者和样本人群的年龄在12-76岁之间,有症状和无症状牙齿诊断为带或不带根尖周炎的牙髓坏死。微生物样本是从感染牙髓或离体牙内直接进行处理。含量最多的细菌门类为硬壁菌门,放线菌门,拟杆菌门,变形杆菌门和梭杆菌门。最常检测到的种属为普雷沃氏菌属,梭杆菌属,卟啉单胞菌属,微单胞菌属和链球菌属。另外,还存在值得注意的其他不同分类微生物标记,但是它们在不同的研究中
