Zealand是一家总部位于哥本哈根的生物技术公司，专注于开发基于多肽的创新药物，Zealand近日宣布，I期临床试验正在评估ZP7570治疗短肠综合征（SBS）的安全性和耐受性。该研究是一项随机、双盲、安慰剂对照、剂量递增试验，入组了64例健康受试者。ZP7570是一种长效双重GLP-1 / GLP-2多肽治疗药物，旨在进一步改善SBS的管理。GLP-2主要增加肠的吸收能力，而GLP-1被认为通过降低胃肠动力起作用，从而允许更多的时间来吸收液体和营养。

短肠综合征是由于不同原因造成小肠吸收面积减少而引起的一个临床症候群，多由广泛小肠切除、小肠短路手术造成保留肠管过少，营养物质的吸收障碍、腹泻和营养障碍。
