诺华公司将三种内分泌药物卖给Recordati公司，分别是Signifor、长效药物Signifor LAR和3期临床候选药osilodrostat（LCI699）。诺华预计将拿到3.9亿美元的付款。

这些药物用于治疗库欣病、肢端肥大症和内分泌失调，其特征是肾上腺或脑垂体激素的过度产生，库欣氏病通常由良性垂体瘤引起。

当美国食品药品管理局于2014年批准时，诺华对Signifor LAR的前景持乐观态度。但多年的专利申请并未成功，Sandostatin在2018年的全球销售额达到15.9亿美元，大多数收入来自Sandostatin LAR。至于Signifor，去年仅售出7200万美元，这一数字对诺华来说显然太小了。
