Metabolism:女性空腹状况和代谢健康与血浆支链氨基酸浓度的关系

较高的BCAA与恶化的代谢健康状况相关。除患有T2D的女性外,空腹与较低的血浆BCAA相关。这些结果支持以下假设:受损的BCAA分解代谢可能是T2D病理生理学改变的特征。

循环支链氨基酸(BCAA)与心脏代谢风险相关,尽管导致其累积的机制尚未明确。近日,代谢性疾病领域权威杂志Metabolism-Clinical and Experimental上发表了一篇研究文章,研究人员旨在评估空腹状态、代谢综合症和2型糖尿病(T2D)与循环BCAA水平之间的关系,以期获得对于代谢新的见解。

研究人员对25740名女性健康研究参与者(平均年龄为55岁)进行了横断面分析。

在多变量线性回归模型中,在无代谢综合征或T2D的女性(均值差异百分比为-5.1%;95%CI=-5.8至-4.5)中以及在仅有代谢综合征的女性(-3.7%; -4.9,-2.6)中,相比于非空腹状态,空腹与较低的血浆BCAA相关,相互作用p=0.002。然而,T2D女性中空腹状态的BCAA没有差异(0.4%;-3.7至4.7)。

研究人员观察到较高的BCAA与恶化的代谢健康状况相关。除患有T2D的女性外,空腹与较低的血浆BCAA相关。这些结果支持以下假设:受损的BCAA分解代谢可能是T2D病理生理学改变的特征。
