旁分泌信号不是静态的,并且可以编码分泌的配体浓度的动力学变化中的背景依赖的动态。然而,至今为止,精确测量动态和背景特异性细胞分泌特征,特别是在贴壁细胞中,仍然具有挑战性。

最近,研究人员通过创建实验和计算分析平台,基于非常有限的时间点重建细胞的动态分泌特征。

通过使用这种方法,研究人员证明CD133阳性BMSC的分泌特征是由不同的生物学背景唯一定义的,包括受损的心肌细胞经历氧化应激的信号,这是心肌梗塞的特征。

此外,研究人员显示,重现BMSC产生的分泌动力学的重组因子的混合物可以介导对氧化应激损伤的细胞的高效拯救,并改善的心输出量。

这些结果支持动态多因素旁分泌信号在介导基质干细胞治疗效果中的重要性,并为干细胞启动的无细胞心脏和其他损伤治疗铺平了道路。
