近年来我国医疗机构广泛开展了眼外伤的急诊救治工作，但是急诊救治效果参差不齐。眼外伤急诊患者伤情复杂、病情急，需要在短时间内做出正确诊断和处理，且急诊救治效果与预后相关。为了提高救治水平，中华医学会眼科学分会眼外伤学组经过认真讨论，达成共识性意见，以供眼科医师在临床工作中参考使用。

眼外伤诊治中的过错防范建议

医生和患者是同一战壕的战友，疾病是共同的敌人。这一理念为医学界所公认，也得到了许多患者的认可。然而，由于医学发展的有限性、疾病的复杂多变性、人体的个性化差异等因素，特别是医患双方对疾病认知的不对等，导致医患纠纷在古今中外难以避免。

NEJM：爆竹引起的眼外伤-案例报道

该患者从角膜上除去异物，病人使用局部抗生素和润滑滴眼液治疗。在接下来的3个月里，其左眼视力提高到20/40。尽管右眼治疗包括原发性手术修复，但这只眼睛仍不能恢复功能，或处于一种通常被称为眼球痨，其特点是眼球萎缩。
