潜水事故被定义为潜水时或在有潜水设备和没有潜水设备的其他高压环境中,由于环境压力降低而可能危及生命或危害健康的事件。这项基于国家共识的指南(发展等级S2k)介绍了关于潜水事故受害者诊断和治疗的知识和建议的现状。对屏气潜水员和儿童青少年的治疗原则上没有区别。在这方面,只有不寻常的疲劳和瘙痒,没有明显的皮肤变化是轻微的症状。关键行动陈述：现场100 %氧气急救治疗、制动/无不必要运动、液体管理和与潜水医学专家电话咨询。高压氧治疗( HBOT )在重症病例中作为既定的治疗方法保持不变,因为没有治疗替代方法。潜水事故推荐的基本治疗方案为280kPa高压氧治疗。
