Experimental Agriculture publishes the results of analytical research into the agronomy of crops particularly the food forage and industrial crops of the warmer regions of the earth. It is especially concerned with experimental work conducted in the field and designed to explain agronomic results in biological and environmental terms. The journal publishes accounts of new experimental techniques new methods of crop production and critical discussions of problems arising in countries where agricultural production is developing rapidly. It is one of the very few scientific journals that encourages practical statistical papers which are also of relevance to those working in the developing world - and particularly biometricians who often work in isolation from their peers. There are also regular book reviews and reviews of relevant databases.
