Each monthly issue of The Lancet Gastroenterology & Hepatology features original clinical research, expert reviews, news, and provocative comment and opinion in gastroenterology and hepatology, providing a clear, independent perspective about the clinical advances and practice-changing research shaping your specialty globally. The journal publishes papers that reflect the rich variety of ongoing clinical research in gastroenterology and hepatology, in particular in the areas of inflammatory bowel diseases, NAFLD and NASH, functional gastrointestinal disorders, gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatobiliary cancers, and viral hepatitis.
