It provides a forum by publishing peer-reviewed papers, to promote academic exchange between the Chinese researchers and doctors and their foreign counterparts. The journal covers the subjects of biomedicine such as physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmacology, immunology, pathology and pathophysiology etc., and subjects of clinical medicines such as surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and otorhinolaryngology etc. High priority is given to studies on the mechanism underlying human diseases and clinical trials.
