Physiol Res:糖尿病1型确诊年龄对角膜细胞密度和神经纤维的影响

这项研究包括60名DM型1型(DM1)和20名健康对照受试者。使用体内角膜共聚焦显微镜评估基底上皮细胞、角膜细胞和内皮细胞的密度以及基底神经纤维的状态。基底上皮细胞密度随年龄增长而增加(p = 0.026),而基质和内皮细胞密度随年龄增长而下降(p = 0.003,p = 0.0005,p <0.0001)。在DM1诊断后,这种与年龄的关联减弱。他们发现,在DM1患者中具有神经纤维损伤(p <0.0001)。损伤与DR的程度相关。DM1确诊时年龄较高的DM1患者神经纤维密度也较高(p = 0.0021)。

因此,他们认为,该结果表明DM1确诊的年龄可能对最终神经纤维和角膜细胞密度具有重要影响。
