印度喜马拉雅医学科学院医学系初级住院医师Tevatia P近日在Trop Doct发表了一篇病例报告，他们详细描述了印度首例莱姆病病例情况。

他们报告一名来自印度北部的年轻男性患者，该患者患有莱姆病，该患者出现进行性视力减退、严重头痛、四肢瘫痪、癫痫发作、皮肤病和肺部病变，以及淋巴结病和低细胞数的骨髓等症状。血清检测呈阳性，也再次证实该病例。

他们认为，这是印度的首例多部门参与诊断的莱姆病报告，对于研究莱姆病具有重要的现实意义。
