本研究中，装载氯膦酸盐的脂质体用作消除C57BL / 6J小鼠中巨噬细胞的工具，并在提取后评估口腔骨填充的效果。除巨噬细胞消融外，还发生破骨细胞消融。有趣的是，通过氯膦酸盐处理消耗巨噬细胞和破骨细胞因骨骼位置不同而发挥不同效果。在无创胫骨中，氯膦酸盐治疗显著增加骨髓中CD68 +细胞和F4 / 80 +细胞减少，这与7天和14天后骨小梁体积分数增加有关。血清形成和再吸收标志物P1NP和TRAcP 5b与胫骨TRAP +破骨细胞一样减少。在愈合拔牙窝中，氯膦酸盐治疗在第14天增加拔牙窝骨小梁厚度，这与TRAP +破骨细胞和F4/80 +巨噬细胞减少相关。相反，无创上颌间隔骨不受氯膦酸盐治疗的影响。此外，使用氯膦酸盐的拔牙窝填充物的增加较非受伤长骨中观察到的骨小梁数目的增加少。

总之，这些数据表明巨噬细胞和破骨细胞在正常更新和愈合中的作用具有时间和空间特异性。
