Sunstar首席执行官Takeshi Kamigouchi评论说：“我们很自豪并且很高兴能够分销优质产品GelX，以便在全球范围内改善癌症患者的口腔状况”。BMG公司首席执行官Marco Mastrodonato评论说：“自2002年以来，我一直与Sunstar合作，在口腔护理领域与Sunstar建立双赢合作关系，我们非常自豪能成为全球口腔护理市场开发和供应商的合作伙伴。这对公司来说是一个重要的步骤”。

口腔粘膜炎是指发生于口腔黏膜或舌黏膜发生的炎症。该病的成因可以分为与口部有关及与全身有关，前者包括口部卫生欠佳、装得不妥当的假牙、或是由灼热食物造成的烫伤。后者则包括药物反应、过敏或感染。而部分肿瘤患者患有口腔粘膜炎的概率较高。
