第21届国际生物化学与分子生物学联盟学术大会暨第12届亚洲大洋洲生物化学家与分子生物学家学术大会（简称国际生化大会，21st IUBMB and 12th FAOBMB International Congress of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology ）于2009年8月2日在上海国际会议中心顺利召开。

国际生化大会肇始于1949年，每三年举办一次，迄今已举办20届，在此之前亚洲地区仅有印度和日本举办过该会。中国生物化学与分子生物学会于2003年成功获得了本届大会的主办权。

作为一次展示生命科学前沿研究成果的盛会，大会共邀请了160余位在各自研究领域做出杰出贡献的科学家，包括4位诺贝尔奖获得者以及发现iPS细胞的Dr. Shinya Yamanaka和因发现microRNA获得2008年Lasker奖的Dr. Victor Ambros。会议内容涵盖了生命科学中的4大主题（基因组动态和基因调控；蛋白质结构、动态与蛋白质组；细胞信号网络；疾病的分子机制），共有36个专题分会场；此外，大会还包括一些其他专题会议，如糖生物学、脂生物学、生物技术与技术转移等。

MedSci应邀参加了此次盛会，并与来自世界各地的学者们进行了广泛和深入的交流。许多专家学者对MedSci为中国同行提供的服务给予了积极的肯定，和高度的评价。我们也会秉承“选择我们，脱颖而出”服务宗旨，精益求精，追求更高的品质！
