研究纳入了2010至2014年间因深龋洞直接盖髓的牙齿112颗。患者从术后2-3个月至1-1.5年间常规进行随访检查。术后1-1.5年间拍摄根尖X线影像。没有患者抱怨、对冷和电测试呈阳性反应、叩诊无明显反应以及无明显牙周膜增宽为治疗成功。使用Fisher exact检验进行统计学分析。显著性水平设置为P=.05。

结果显示，共85颗牙齿完成了术后1-1.5年的随访调查。整体治疗成功率为82.6%。仅年龄对牙髓的存活率具有显著性影响：年轻患者治疗成功率为90.9%，明显高于年龄为40岁或以上的73.8% (P=.0480)。而性别、初始或继发龋治疗、咬合面或颈部/近中龋坏、延缓永久性充填、牙齿位置、牙弓形态并不影响疗效。

结论：患者年龄是影响应用此种新硅酸钙类粘固剂进行直接盖髓术疗效的因素。

临床意义：无症状有活力的因龋露髓的恒牙可以通过使用Biodentine进行直接盖髓治疗而得以保存。
