此项研究共纳入36284例接受首次CABG治疗的患者。主要终点为卒中再入院、心肌梗死或CABG后90天内心衰。对混淆因素进行校正之后，利用Logistic回归模型评估主要转归和次要转归（全因死亡）的风险。

结果显示，在90天随访期间共出现2462例心血管事件和617例死亡。总体而言，17%的患者于术后出现急性肾损伤。对年龄、性别、房颤、左室射血分数、糖尿病、周围血管病以及心肌梗死、心衰或卒中病史进行校正之后，在估计肾小球滤过率为15～45 ml/min/1.73 m2的患者中心血管事件比值比（OR）为1.24，但在引入急性肾损伤的统计模型中显著性消失。即便对所有混淆因素进行校正之后，在估计肾小球滤过率为15～45 ml/min/1.73 m2的患者中死亡风险仍显著升高。
