近日，发表在国际杂志Nature Communications上的一篇研究报告中，来自伦敦国王学院的研究人员通过研究开发了一种寒冷感应器，其可以诱发机体的皮肤血管对寒冷产生反应，或可作为治疗冻伤或低温症的新型疗法。[pdf free]

TRPA1基因和疼痛的敏感性有关，因此研究者常利用其来开发止痛药，而本文研究中首次发现TRPA1基因也参与到了机体皮肤血管对寒冷的反应中；在寒冷的天气里人类机体有多种机制来帮助增强机体的核心温度，皮肤可以通过缩小血管来产生反应，而反之血管扩张则对机体皮肤的温度回升及保持健康至关重要。

这项研究中，研究者将麻醉小鼠的爪子沉浸入水中以达到使其皮肤暴露于寒冷环境中的目的，随后研究人员在小鼠暴露于寒冷之前以及在慢慢地降温过程中对小鼠的血流进行了测定，结果显示，基因TRPA1在两种不同的路径中均发挥了作用，其可以帮助小鼠感知环境温度的改变，随后可以刺激血管中的收缩保护作用，而随后小鼠机体中的血管扩张过程都依赖于TRPA1的激活，而且血管扩张对于血流的恢复也至关重要。

当前研究揭示了TRPA1基因在寒冷暴露中调节机体的关键角色，也为未来研究者利用该基因进行靶向作用来增强机体对寒冷的保护性反应提供了新的思路。下一步研究人员希望基于当前研究数据来解释其它TRP受体在机体皮肤对寒冷反应中的角色，尤其是针对那些温度敏感性受体的大型家族；同时研究人员也表示后期将进一步解释血管对寒冷暴露反应同皮肤的维护及机体温度之间的关系。

最后研究者Peter Weissberg说道，这项研究可以帮助我们理解我们机体血管收缩和扩张的原因及机制，同时也可以帮助开发治疗许多血管疾病的靶向性疗法。
